Orgranized by SPE, the 20th SPE Improved Oil Recovery Conference was held in Tulsa of U.S.A. on April 9. Rao Chuanjin, postdoctorate, and two postgraduates are invited to participate. Dr. Yao Chuanjin delivered an academic presentation entitled “Research and Application of Micron-size Polyacrylamide Elastic Microspheres as a Smart Sweep Improvement and Profile Modification Agent”.
The subject of conference is about “New Challenge and New Technique”, which covers the areas of water flooding, chemical flooding, CO2 drive, foam drive, Micro Nanofluid drive, heavy oil and unconventional resource development, advanced IOR/EOR technology, etc. The participants come from various global companies and universities, including Chevron, Baker Hughes, Shell, BP, Stanford University, Texas University at Austin, Missouri University of Science and Technology, Tulsa University, Texas University of Technology, China University of Petroleum (East China), etc.
